Issue Position

Our economy took a hit as COVID-19 spread and businesses were forced to close -- some permanently. Just before this, we added 35,000 new jobs in Missouri under Republican leadership in the state capitol. While the other side promotes raising taxes and additional financial burdens to already struggling families and businesses, Lee Ann will work to jump-start our economy again by keeping taxes low and providing the needed tools to navigate these difficult times. As a senior accountant, she knows how to balance fiscal efficiency with a logical approach to keep our community afloat. Steps can be taken to be reopen our economy and still follow safety precautions. More people will suffer if they remain locked out of work by government overreach than if we safely get back to business.
